What I say about myself (optional)
I’m a creative enthusiast who loves blending imagination with design! From illustrating intricate details to crafting bold, standout visuals, my passion lies in storytelling through art. I’ve worked on everything from revamping Instagram aesthetics at NFTees to designing unique prints for startups. My university projects, heavily centered around illustration, taught me to think outside the box and embrace color, texture, and style. When I’m not creating, you’ll find me rollerskating, playing football, or painting – always keeping the creativity flowing!

Hi! I’m Kelly, a multi-skilled designer from South Wales and owner of creative design studio, ‘Studio K’. At Studio K, we specialise in everything from logo creation, brand identity, graphic design, packaging design, technical art working, design auditing, web design, web maintenance, social content creation, copywriting, large format design, event graphics and more! I have over 15 years, mixed commercial and freelance experience and my background is actually in packaging design – I spent over 10 years working in the retail sector for brands like Disney, M&S, Harvey Nichols and Waitrose. Sadly, I was made redundant at the very start of the pandemic, which is when I opened Studio K – nearly 5 years in, I wouldn’t change it for the world. Outside of the studio, I enjoy time with my family, my cat (also our resident studio chair steeler, lap warmer and pantone specialist), eating roast dinners, eating cheese (I really like cheese!) and gardening. I have over 100 house plants (last I counted but I’m sure I’ve snuck a few more through the door since then!)

My experience of print graphic designer/creative artworker for nearly 18 years gives me vast knowledge of both print and digital worlds, a list of my strongest categories include: – Magazines – Brochures – Marketing material – Digital Presentations – Adverts – Large Format – Promotional Merchandise I do highly rate my logistical organisation ranging from knowledge of many aspects of the print industry. Stuck looking for a creative avenue for your next project? Unsure how to convey your message? No matter the size of the job, I can offer my professional services using my strengths in the following: – Strong eye for typography – Using assets of your brand to aid with the communication such as CTA’s – Colour hierarchy – Understands Brand guidelines and the rule of thirds – Brand consistency in layout, type and everything in-between – Photo manipulation Despite being UK-based I am happy to accept work on an international level. I am also huge advocate for physical culture and building muscle, it is the cornerstone for a strong and productive society, which shows through the world building of my design works. Aside from that, mobility and yoga practices are fundamental for keeping the mind and body in a positive state. This keeps the mind fresh and free from distractions, especially when it comes to working on any design-related projects. Other past passions which I hold dear to my heart include noodling on my bass guitars and treading the boards in local amateur dramatic societies. I never shy away from performing any hobby within the arts as I don’t know anything else – it is my life and identity.
